Storefront of Arts & Architecture: Arch-Art! Books

Archizines is an international touring exhibition that showcases architectural periodicals (but many are thin like pamphlets) since 2000 from alternative and independent publishers. The exhibition space and format are different each time, and the New York one wasn't done very well.

Having said that, the venue Storefront for Art and Architecture, designed by Vito Acconci and Steven Holl, is a great space and I would love to see other exhibitions there.

The walls outside dress up the exhibition nicely.

Wall panels open up to give light and air inside.
This way of display was visually pleasing but impractical, it made navigation difficult and left journals curled. And, I don't know how they stored the journals at night but upon my visit in the morning they all had dust on them.
