Takahachi

Very decent meal, quite comfortable seats, attentive staff. The place is above average but not special though for a revisit.

Different types and sizes of seaweed kept in boxes (Kanji reads sushi seaweed).
The place is bustling with takeaway orders and it's no wonder! Food (in these super good quality takeaway boxes) look as pretty as the ones for eat in.
Red miso soup. I wonder if there's a thing of red/white miso soup pairs with the kind of food you eat?
Home-made tofu with watercress. Nice and silky but notice the dent on the top corner of the bowl.
Hanafubukie (box pressed fluke sushi with pickled cherry blossoms on top). Too sour for LC but I find it refreshing. Would be ideal in smaller pieces as starter.
 Details of the hanafubukie.
Scallop sushi. The rice portion was rather small.
Sushi deluxe. What's up with the sushi being so narrow and long? (and the rice portion is also smaller than what we're used to)
Home-made green tea mille crepe. The whipped cream lightened pastry cream is making my stomach funny:(
But the crepe is very nice! It's made of 20 very thin layers. The cream was too heavy though.
