Namu Gaji

This restaurant in the Mission serves Americanzed Korean food. It's small and very crowded but I love this place. I only wish we had more time to enjoy our meal because the service was a bit rush (but not too rush to make you feel unwelcome), understandably so as heaps of people were waiting on the Sunday night we were there.

They only take reservations for +6 people, and they provide valet parking.

The food was beautifully made with very good ingredients. I was very impressed with their menu, would definitely go back to try more of their creative dishes!

Namu gaji means tree branch in Korean, hence the branch integrated with the light fixtures. Love their decor.

Plate.
Sake.
Banchan (small dishes).
Mushroom dumplings. These are sooo delicious!
Okonomiyaki. If I had to pick a least favourite of what I ate here it would be this, not that it was bad, just maybe not as flavoursome as in a Japanese okonomiyaki place.
Spicy soup.
Spicy soup close up.
Rice in a stonepot.
