Il Pesce @ Eataly

Eataly is an Italian deli-restaurant, a salumeria (a new word I've picked up since coming to this country). Not only they sell fine quality products (from pasta to meat and seafood), their restaurants cook what they sell. Great strategy! I say restaurants because there're a dozen of them in this little space. On this night we tried the fish place.

Good to sit at the bar and watch the actions.
Daily specials. Every day, they do an "al forno" (roast) and "alla piastra" (pan seared) for 2 chosen fish.

Crudo trio: red snapper with enoki mushroom, amberjack with red lava salt, yellowfin tuna with tarragon flower. Super fresh and flavoursome.
Fish soup with spicy tomato crostini.
 Porgy alla piastra. Generous portion.
 Beautiful lemon.
 Branzino al forno.
Sicilian style swordfish.
