Tomoe Sushi

This is the kind of restaurants that impose restrictions probably because it's popular. They don't accept credit cards other than AmEx, you're not allowed to bring strollers inside, no reservation, they don't accept groups bigger than 5...

Lots of reviews say this place is good, and we did have to queue for about 20 minutes at dinnertime (fine with us). Food was alright. Not going back.

The place was quite packed but not uncomfortable, until a fly kept circling about our table (which was by the closed window).
 Saucers.
 Salad.
Tofu buns. Quite nice but the lettuce is old.
Sushi deluxe. Passable. Not terribly fresh but the generous size of the sushi (for the medium price) made up for it. I think that's why people like Tomoe. However, I'd rather pay the same price for smaller but better sushi. Like Hatsuhana.
