Sadly the store near the New York Times wasn't even half as nice. Like the one in Soho, decor was clean and simple, it was light and airy, and the spaciousness of the place almost made you forget you're in super busy Times Square. However, the floor was dirty, the furniture wasn't clean, and some of the high chairs had broken legs. Negligence of details like these made me wonder if there was anyone managing the place. I felt bad for the people who designed and built this place.
Beans: Counter Culture
Sushi bar.
Spacious and airy.
Some of the chairs had broken legs.
Their own beans from Counter Culture. Great packaging!
Manhattan blend.
Chocolate.
Macaroons.
Mint tea. They sell their own brand of tea but strangely don't serve any of them in store. I naively was hoping to pay (afterall this is a store AND a cafe) to try a cup before committing to a full can. Settled with this bland mint tea.
Espresso.
