Kyotofu

I had high hopes on Kyotofu after checking out their website. I like the interior from the photos and their menu. Their mains were ok but I'd recommend skipping them and go there just for desserts.

 Comfy.
Their hip music was too loud and as soon as more customers came in the staff turned the music up.
 Mimosa.
Omakase: chicken and tofu burger, sake braised pork belly, homemade tofu. It felt like a canteen bento box on close-up, excessive oil on each compartment. Shame. The oil from the pork belly almost extended to the onigiri. Quite like the burger. Pork belly was too greasy for my taste.
Eggs in a Frame. With truffle oil and some sort of seaweed sprinkled on top. Nice.
Dessert omakase. I think using a long narrow plate instead would better show case the desserts.
Green tea crème brûlée. Nice.
Miso chocolate brownie. The vanilla cream was sooo good!
Poached apples with soymilk okayu.
Vanilla sweet tofu panna cotta. My fave!
Green tea nama chocolate. I find it too dense.
 Kuro goma sweet tofu.
Panna cotta.
Ginger biscuits.
