Hatsuhana

This place is outside our normal price-range but I would happily go back on rare occasions.

It may not show from my poorly taken photo but the interior was well thought of. Unfortunately the counter seats had been booked out. This has to be one of the best counters I've seen. It has lights bright enough for the chefs to work with, yet by placing cotton curtains over the lights it keeps lights off the customers. As you can tell, I love these kind of attention far better than the quality of food...
 Sushi special.
 Box of dreams (mini)
Close up of box of dreams.
The box of dreams was very impressive but not very filling (of course!) so we ordered these sushi temaki rolls (which don't cost a lot). I always joke about eating at home right before eating out at an expensive restaurant. In this case this totally justifies:)
